Nomveliso Mbanga Teencoaching™ · Teen Online Community · Open Year-Round

For the teenager
who is already
leading themselves.

A self-leadership community for teenagers who are self-driven — or who want to become self-driven. Weekly challenges, goal-setting marathons, academic tools, career resources, and close proximity to the Nomveliso Mbanga Teencoaching™ methodology. No direct coaching. Maximum growth.

"Not every teenager needs a coach in the room.
Some need a community that
matches their ambition."

What this is

The Mayine Teen Online Community is a WhatsApp-based self-leadership space grounded in the Nomveliso Mbanga Teencoaching™ methodology. It is not a coaching programme. It is a structured, active community where self-driven teenagers grow alongside peers — with weekly content, practical tools, and regular direct access to the Mayine team through open Q&A sessions.

You join through Payhip. Once your membership is confirmed, you receive the WhatsApp community link directly. Everything happens inside WhatsApp — challenges, guides, conversations, and resources — delivered to where teenagers already are.

Is this the right fit?

This is for you if —

You are ready to lead yourself

  • You are self-driven or actively working to become self-driven

  • You want to grow alongside peers who take their development seriously

  • You are in Grades 8–12 and want tools for academic excellence and self-leadership

  • You want access to career information, subject choice guides, and goal-setting frameworks

  • You are motivated but want a structured community to stay consistent

  • You are not ready for full group coaching yet but want to stay connected to the Mayine ecosystem

This is not for you if —

You need direct coaching support

  • You are looking for one-on-one coaching with a dedicated coach

  • You need structured accountability from a coach who tracks your progress

  • You are going through a significant emotional or developmental crisis

  • You want live, scheduled coaching sessions as part of the programme

  • You prefer in-person group work with a facilitator present

  • If any of these describe you, our regional group coaching or retreat programmes will be a better fit.

Important — please read before joining

This is a community space, not a coaching programme

The Teen Online Community does not include direct one-on-one or group coaching. There are no scheduled coaching sessions and no personal coach assigned to you. What it does include is weekly structured content, community challenges, templates, guides, and two recurring touchpoints with the Mayine team: a weekly open Q&A where members can ask questions, and a quarterly academic review conversation. These are community touchpoints — not coaching sessions. If you are looking for a coaching relationship, please explore our group coaching or retreat options.

I

Weekly · Always-on

Weekly self-leadership challenges

A new challenge every week designed to build one self-leadership habit at a time. Seven-day structured tasks that are specific, actionable, and connected to the Nomveliso Mbanga Teencoaching™ five pillars. Best-improved recognition at the end of each challenge cycle.

IV

Monthly · Goal-setting

Goal-setting marathons

Monthly structured goal-setting sessions run inside the community. Members set, track, and review goals together — building the habit of intentional planning alongside peers who are doing the same work. Peer accountability is built into the format.

Every item below is included in your R300/month membership. Nothing is sold separately inside the community. All templates, guides, and resources are yours to keep.

II

Weekly · Open access

Weekly Q&A sessions

Once a week the community opens for live questions. Members post their questions and receive direct responses from the Mayine team. This is not coaching — it is a structured touchpoint where teenagers can ask about academics, career decisions, self-leadership, and anything else on the agenda.

V

Ongoing · Resource drops

Career and subject choice resources

Career presentations, subject choice guides, and tertiary application information — delivered in text and video format. Not a career counselling session. A curated, practical library of information that teenagers can work through at their own pace.

III

Quarterly · Structured

Quarterly academic review conversations

Four times a year the community holds a structured academic review conversation. Members reflect on their term, share results, and receive guidance on how to approach the next quarter. Templates are provided for self-review before the conversation begins.

VI

Voice notes · Video drops

Direct presence from Nomveliso

Regular voice notes and occasional video drops from Nomveliso Mbanga — not scheduled coaching, but warm, direct presence in the community. The kind of encouragement, reframing, and wisdom that comes from 40 years of working with teenagers.
