The Journey
Twelve months.

Months 1–3
Shared Foundation
All candidates complete the same foundation together. Methodology, ethics, coaching process, adolescent development. Cohort forms here.
Months 4–6
Teen Practicum Bridge
You coach real teenagers. Minimum 5 pre-teens and 5 teens. Monthly log submissions. Group supervision. You begin charging from R350/session.
Months 7–11
Specialisation & Supervision
Deep Teencoaching methodology, MAE™ full training, business modules, bi-weekly supervision, ongoing practicum building to 40 hours.
Month 12
Assessment & Certification
Three-part assessment. Written case study, live coaching demonstration, MAE™ presentation. Certification awarded. MaGICA™ induction.

Certified coaches never charge below R950 per session. This is a brand covenant, not a suggestion. The floor protects you, your peers, and the methodology's market value simultaneously.
Practice Model
10 one-on-one sessions/week @ R1,200 | R48,000 P/M and R576,000 p/y
15 one-on-one sessions/week @ R1,500 | R90,000pm and R1,080,000 p/a
8 individual + 2 groups (8 participants) @ R650 | R89,600pm and R1,075,200 p/a
MAE™ school partnership (20 students @ R250)—R50,000 p/a additional
MaGICA™ Tier 1 membership costs R20,500/year. A single MAE™ school partnership covers your membership twice over.
Assessment
Three components.
All mandatory.
Assessment is not a formality. It is the gate between knowing the methodology and being certified to carry it. All three components must be completed within the assessment window.

Written Case Study
A full coaching case from your teen practicum — minimum 4 sessions documented, anonymised. Demonstrates your methodology application in a real coaching relationship.

Live Coaching Demonstration
A 45-minute coaching session conducted in front of an assessor. Reviewed against the CIAT™ competency framework. This is where your practice is seen directly.

MAE™ Presentation
Present the Mindset of Academic Excellence™ programme as if delivering it to a school or parent. Demonstrates your ability to translate methodology into programme delivery.
Programme Standards
The container
holds.
The certification has a spine. These are the non-negotiables. They exist to protect you, your future clients, and the integrity of the methodology.
Module Progression: Next module does not open until the checkpoint is submitted. Progress is earned, not automatic.
Practicum Logs : Monthly submission required. Retroactive logging at the end of the certification is not accepted.
Session Absences: Maximum 2 absences per phase. Missed sessions require a make-up recording and written reflection within 7 days.
Minimum Fee: R350/session from Month 4. Full market rate from Month 6. Charging less is a brand covenant violation.
Pause Protocol: One pause permitted per journey. Maximum 4 weeks. Genuine emergency only. Must be requested in writing within 48 hours.
Midpoint Check-In: Mandatory at Month 6. This is where drift is caught early — not at the end.
Assessment Resit: One resit permitted within 60 days of the first attempt, at an assessment fee. Certification window does not extend.
