Why the Foundational Teencoaching Certification Is Mandatory

To Dismantle Personal Biases
Many who enter the Parenting or Young Adult certification programs are already parents or mentors. They tend to see their children or personal experiences as the standard. The foundation course deliberately disrupts that lens, encouraging practitioners to engage with diverse developmental realities outside their own experience.

Standard plan runs for 24 months total.
Students may complete earlier if they accelerate payments.

Investment Structure

To join the certification, candidates must commit to both the upfront retreat fee and the structured monthly payments that ensure smooth participation in the program.

Retreat Fee (Upfront):
- R25,500
- Payable before 27 November, ahead of the program start.
Training Fee (Months 1–6):
- R5,000 per month
- This covers the intensive foundation stage of your certification journey.
Training Fee (From Month 7 onwards):
- R6,500 per month
- By this stage, you will already be trained to start charging clients for your coaching services.
- With our guided business coaching, you’ll be supported to establish a sustainable client base.
- At the base coaching fee of R950 per client, only ±7 clients will cover your monthly certification fee.

Coaching Practice Begins at Month 6

From Month 6, you will begin your supervised practical coaching hours.
At this point, you may also begin to charge your full coaching fee for sessions.
Each certification is designed to be income-generating during training, so you are not required to wait until the end of the program to earn.

✅ Example: A certified Teencoach™ may start charging between R450 – R950 per session after six months, while continuing their practicals and mentorship, considering everyone start by coaching teens.

To begin your journey, you must first complete the Be A Teencoach Certification, which is the core training and a prerequisite for any specialization. This training provides a strong foundation in coaching teens and young adults.
Once you've completed the Be A Teencoach Certification, you can choose from the following advanced specializations:

Yes! After choosing a specialization, you can further expand your expertise by pursuing additional certifications in these areas:

For Parent Coaching, you’ll begin by completing the Be A Teencoach Certification, which gives you the foundation to understand teen development and challenges. Afterward, you can choose specializations such as Family Formations Coach, Emotional Intelligence Parent Coach, Blended Families Coach, or Family Wealth Creation Coach. If you continue to build experience and complete 500+ coaching hours, you can earn Senior Coach Status.
For Career Development Coaching, you also start with the Be A Teencoach Certification to gain essential coaching skills. Then, you move on to the Career Development Coach Certification, which is focused on helping individuals with career choices, performance, and transitions. You can further specialize in areas like Self-Discovery Coaching, Performance Coaching, or Career Transition Coaching. Just like with Parent Coaching, after completing 500+ coaching hours, you can reach Senior Coach Status.
The certification process typically takes around 9 months to complete the Be A Teencoach Certification, which is the core training. This foundational program equips you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to work effectively as a coach. Once the core certification is completed, you can move on to your chosen specialization, which takes approximately 3 months to finish.
So in total, the entire certification process, including both the core and specialization training, will take about 12 months to complete, depending on your pace and availability. This allows you to gain deep expertise in your chosen area while progressing through the training in a structured and manageable timeframe.
