🤍 No judgement zone. Every conversation here is age-appropriate, honest, and led with care — no shouting, no shame, no pressure to be anyone but yourself.
If this is your first Teencoaching Retreat, you're probably wondering what it's actually going to be like. Maybe you're excited. Maybe curious. Maybe a little nervous about a whole weekend away from home. All of that is normal — so before you arrive, here's everything you need to know.

This is a safe space

Our retreats are built around emotional safety, physical safety, and real connection. You'll be away from your parents for the weekend, but you'll be cared for the entire time by our professional Teencoaching team.

You'll stay in comfortable accommodation with proper rooms and bedding. This is not an outdoor military-style camp, and it is not a disciplinary camp. Nobody will shout at you, scream at you, or make you feel small.

Instead, it's a space where you can talk, listen, ask questions, participate, reflect, have fun — and start to understand yourself more deeply.

Retreat group activity in a comfortable indoor lounge

Our approach is conversation-based, activity-based and development-focused — not a series of physically demanding challenges. Expect guided conversations, interactive activities, reflection, meals, quiet time and connection with other young people. If there's anything outdoors, it's gentle and safe — think walking or bird watching, not an obstacle course. You'll get the full programme before you arrive, so nothing is a surprise.

We keep it real — and we have fun

Not every conversation is a deep one. We laugh, we play, we relax — a retreat is also just a good time with people your age. But when it matters, we don't shy away from the real stuff either.

You'll have space to ask questions and talk honestly about the things that are actually on your mind — with guidance on how to think for yourself and make informed decisions about your own life.

And it's not only our founder leading every conversation. You'll also hear from guest speakers — different voices, different experiences, different perspectives, all adding to the weekend.

"I don't know anyone here."

You might be thinking this when you arrive — and that's completely normal. Most of the young people at the retreat will be meeting each other for the first time. Different schools, different communities, different backgrounds.

That's part of the experience. You'll get to practise walking into a new space, meeting new people, joining conversations, and building connection — a skill you'll use for the rest of your life. You don't need to know anyone before you arrive. You just need to come with an open mind.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't need to know your future, your career, or have all the answers. You're still becoming — and that's exactly why we build these spaces.

Come as you are.

Come ready to listen. Come ready to think. Come ready to talk.

Come ready to meet someone new — and to discover something about yourself.

Because the person you are becoming deserves your attention too.
