Indigenously
Parenting Teens

A half-day workshop for parents of pre-teens and teenagers. Intimate, structured, and deeply activating — designed to shift how you see and relate to your child without requiring a long-term commitment. Many parents describe this as the first time they have had a structured space to think about their parenting rather than just react to it.

Three modules.
One morning.

Each session is built around your child — not a generic parenting curriculum. You bring what is real. The modules work in sequence to build a complete picture of who your child is and how you are relating to them.

01

90 minutes

Birth Heritage Personality Profiling™

Rooted in iNgqondo YeMveli — who did you bring into this world?

  • Parents write the full birth story of their child — pre-birth, during, after
  • Vee identifies the core personality threads from the birth story
  • Unpack the child's name — origin, meaning, how it plays out today
  • Build a personalised personality profile for your child
  • Understand natural energy, learning style, and social patterns

Core message: Personality from birth does not change — we work with it, not against it.

02

90 minutes

Family Formations™

Generational patterns and the parenting mirror

  • Identifying your generation, your parents' generation, your child's generation
  • What was happening in each era — and how it shaped parenting
  • How you relate to your own parents vs how you relate to your teen
  • Mapping the conscious and unconscious patterns running in your family
  • Which patterns are serving your child — and which are not

Core message: What you do not examine, you repeat.

03

90 minutes

Mindset of Academic Excellence™ — Parenting Guide

Reading your child's academic picture without panic

  • Parents bring their child's most recent school report
  • Map academic performance against the personality profile from Module 1
  • Understand what the grades and averages actually mean
  • Align learning strategies to your child's natural rhythms and energy
  • Personality vs school environment — what to notice, what to advocate for

Core message: Your child is not underperforming — they may be misaligned.

Close: The Path Forward — 15 minutes Vee rounds up the full session. Each parent leaves with their child's profile and one clear action.

What to bring.

What every parent brings

  • Your child's most recent school report (for Module 3)
  • An open mind — not a fixed idea of what is wrong
  • Willingness to be honest in a small group
  • Your own story — not just your child's

What you will leave with

  • A personality profile for your child
  • A clearer picture of the generational patterns in your family
  • An honest read of your child's academic situation
  • One clear, practical action to take at home
  • Knowledge of what next step — coaching, retreat, or circle — fits your family right now

Your child's stage
shapes the session.

Each workshop is grouped by your child's developmental stage. You will be in a room with parents navigating the same season as you — not a mixed group where the conversations don't land.

Ages 10–13 · Grades 5–7

Parenting Pre-Teens

The formation years. Before the full force of adolescence arrives — this is the window where the right conversations build the foundation that holds everything that follows.

Ages 13–18 · Grades 8–12

Parenting Teenagers

The most demanding season. Identity, conflict, peer pressure, academic pressure, disconnection. For the parent who wants to stay in the relationship when everything pulls them apart.

Parenting Young Adults

The renegotiation. Your child is an adult but the relationship is still forming. Learning to parent from alongside rather than above — without losing the connection you built.

Parents who have
done the work.

Three parents. Different cities, different circumstances, different children. The same shift.

"

Since I discovered you as a coach in 2020 my life has never been the same. My household and my family are peaceful. With all challenges coming with parenting, I still manage to parent with ease, compassion and understanding. My daughter is growing into a confident and intelligent fine young lady. All investments I have made onto any programme you provided have paid off.

"

This was a very emotional and useful session. I have learnt a lot about life itself. I must listen, observe and take my kids' behaviour into consideration. I am also excited to learn about other parents' challenges and get a relief that I am not alone.

Parent · East London session

"

Nine other parents in the room meant I read nine encyclopedias of parenting. We are reminded who we are at the workshop. It's in the name. It's in the lineage. Know who you are. Let the teens know who they are. We thank the gods for your work. You know your superpower and you live by it.

Dr Miranda

Medical professional · Single parent · Johannesburg session

"I benefitted from this programme and it changed my whole outlook on parenting. If parents can't afford any of your services, this is a must-have. I'm still relying on it for my overall approach to life."
