Become a Certified Identity-Anchored Teencoach™
Before our certification partial scholarship fee rises, we are opening a final flash window for experienced professionals ready to train in the Nomveliso Mbanga Teencoaching™ methodology.
Three years at the same price. The certification has grown since.
Our partial scholarship fee has stayed at R35,500 for three years, while the value of the CIAT™ certification has grown considerably. From the next intake, the partial scholarship fee rises to R45,500.
Before that change, we are welcoming one final group at a flash partial scholarship fee of R17,000. The CIAT™ certification and its Practice Development model are tested and proven across our previous cohorts of Teencoaches.
R17,000. Paid in full, or in two instalments.
Pay in full
- Your place is confirmed as soon as payment is received
- No additional admin fee
Pay in two instalments
- First instalment secures your place
- Second instalment due before 15 November 2026, when the new partial scholarship fee takes effect
Your partial scholarship fee opens the door. Your practice settles the rest.

Build your first 10 clients
From month two or three, you begin building a practice of 10 teen clients with our support.
Settle and step forward
Client fees are shared 70/30 (70% to Mayine) until the balance is settled. You then move to the full Licensed Associate split.
Your first 10 clients are part of your training
This is not a sales target. It is how you learn to build, grow and sustain a coaching practice.
Building a client base is a professional skill, and this certification teaches it. Mayine provides you with a dedicated marketing landing page, a client-sourcing and marketing guideline, and training in sales, marketing and client retention.
Many of our candidates already bring strong professional and community networks, and we show you how to engage them with integrity. You are given the space and time to grow towards 10 clients, and we assist with referrals where we can. When a client completes their journey or leaves, you learn to replace them, which is part of running any practice.
The balance is spread over 12 to 24 months, so you are not under pressure to clear it within the certification year. It is settled through your Practice Development clients, and it keeps you accountable and connected to the process as your practice grows. From month four, you may also take on your own clients, which you keep 100% of.
What your practice can earn in your certification year
Your earnings come from two streams. The first is your 10 Practice Development clients at R950 per month, shared 70/30. The second is clients you source yourself from month four, at R1,400 per month, where you keep 100%.
| Stream 1: 10 Practice Development clients × R950 | R9,500 / month |
| Mayine's 70%, which settles your certification balance | R6,650 / month |
| Your 30% | R2,850 / month |
| Stream 2: 10 of your own clients × R1,400, from month four | R14,000 / month |
| Yours to keep (100%) | R14,000 / month |
This example assumes your 10 Practice Development clients are active from month three. Your R17,000 partial scholarship fee is recovered within the first six months of Stream 1 alone. Clients referred to you by Mayine from month four are shared 70/30, with 30% to Mayine. Clients you source yourself are 100% yours.
These figures are an illustration of potential, not a promise of income. From the start of your certification, you are building your own coaching practice, and a practice is a business. Clients will not simply arrive. You will do the work of marketing, building your visibility, presenting yourself professionally and retaining the clients you sign.
Marketing is not always smooth or quick, and every coach's journey is different. Mayine supports you with a landing page, a marketing guideline, training in sales, marketing and client retention, and referrals where we can. What you earn depends on the work you put into your practice.
Experienced professionals ready to work with teenagers and their families
The CIAT™ certification is a 12-month, ICF-accredited, hybrid programme grounded in an indigenous-based approach to human development. We accept candidates with established work experience in their own fields, such as education, youth work, social services, ministry, health or business.
Applications are open now, and places are allocated in the order payments are received. The flash sale closes as soon as all places are filled.
Before January, we send you your first reading modules, so that you arrive prepared and we can complete the full programme together. Once training begins, you start building your client practice as the certification progresses.

The R17,000 flash partial scholarship fee is not the full certification fee. The CIAT™ certification fee is R108,800, and the balance of R91,800 is settled over 12 to 24 months through the Practice Development revenue share, as set out in the candidate agreement.
Refunds. You may cancel within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund, with no reason needed. After 7 days, amounts paid are not refundable. Written programme content is released from 15 November 2026. Instead of a refund, you may transfer the amount paid to another Mayine service, or move it to a future certification intake by paying the difference to that intake's partial scholarship fee (R45,500 from the next intake, a top-up of R28,500). Transfers must be used within 12 months. If Mayine cancels or postpones this intake, you receive a full refund.
Withdrawal. If you withdraw during the certification, you are not required to pay the outstanding balance. You forfeit all amounts paid and your place in the certification. To certify in future, you would start afresh as a new candidate.
All places and terms are subject to approval and to the signed candidate agreement.
