Very few are built around a shared value system that teens actually helped shape, and even fewer teach a teenager how to reflect on their own thinking before they act on it.

Frequently Asked Questions — What Parents Ask
If I have access to Nomveliso at R980, why would I also pay R1,200 for a Licensed Associate?
Because they solve different problems. The container is group coaching — structure, community, tools, and coaching principles that work at scale. With a large group of teens in one space, there's no individualised debrief time, and progress is tracked collectively, not teen by teen. A Licensed Associate is the opposite: a private space to debrief whatever your teen needs to, work through structured and personalised goals, and get direct, individualised feedback — because the coach is tracking your specific teen, not a group.
Many teens do both at once, and it works well together — the container builds the tools and the community, and 1:1 coaching helps a teen apply those tools to their own specific situation. It isn't either/or. It's depth, added on top of a strong foundation.
Can I get feedback on how my specific child is doing in the container?
Honestly, no — not from the container itself. What we track and share is how the group is doing collectively, not individual performance data on your teen specifically. That's a real boundary, not an oversight: it's what keeps the container coaching a group at scale instead of quietly becoming unpaid individual coaching. If you want feedback specific to your teen, that's exactly what a Licensed Associate 1:1 relationship is for.
One added benefit worth knowing: Licensed Associates rotate through the container as guest facilitators for topic weeks and check-ins. So if your teen already works with an associate 1:1, that associate gets an extra window into how they're showing up in the group setting too — not a replacement for their sessions together, but a useful extra layer.
Why group coaching instead of one-on-one?
Most teens don't want one-on-one coaching to start with — they want to work things out themselves first. The container gives them exactly that: a group space with the tools to drive their own development. Teens don't always know what they need yet, and this is where they find out — including learning the value of asking for support when it's actually needed.
You've coached one-on-one for 30 years — why this now?
This isn't a shift. Group coaching, at different scales, has always been part of the work — this is that same coaching at a much larger scale, built to create more access for teens and more opportunity within our Licensed Associate network. One-on-one coaching hasn't gone anywhere; it now sits at a premium level, with this container as the accessible entry point into the same methodology.
Who's actually running this?
Every session is designed and led by Nomveliso personally. The assistant supports logistics — weekly check-ins, goal-setting, coordinating guest conversations — but the coaching itself is hers, built on three decades of direct work with teenagers.
What happens if my teen shares something serious during a session?
It gets flagged and assessed for what needs to reach you. Where a teen needs more urgent support, parents are informed — that's part of why the container has a dedicated assistant in the first place.
What actually happens in the breakout discussions — is my teen ever alone with an adult?
No. Breakout conversations work the same way they would in any in-person facilitated session — small groups of teens discuss a topic together for a few minutes, then choose one person to report back to the full group. Teens are grouped with each other, never alone one-on-one with an adult, and the full session is present throughout.
Is anything from sessions shared with other parents?
In the parent webinars, yes — themes and topics that come up are shared anonymously, to help parents understand what to look out for. No individual teen's session content is shared without cause.
Can my teen step back from a conversation or leave a session?
Yes, at any point, for any reason. There's no pressure to participate in a topic that doesn't feel right. This doesn't affect membership fees.
My teen is shy or withdrawn — is this still the right space?
It doesn't rule them out at all. Quiet teens are often the deep thinkers and observers of a group, absorbing and processing in their own way. Talking more isn't the same as being more confident, or getting more out of the space — the container is built to work for both.
What if my teen doesn't participate much — do I still pay full price?
That's your call to make. Growth isn't always loud — some teens work quietly and show it over time, which is part of why Most Improved is tracked properly, not judged by who talks most. If it's genuinely not landing for your teen, you're free to withdraw them at any point.
How is this different from a WhatsApp group with some videos?
The WhatsApp group and videos are part of it, but the core of this is live, personally-led coaching — not talks, not content consumption. It's built on methodology proven across thousands of teens over three decades, and it's tracked: weekly goals, incentives, and real engagement data, not passive viewing.
What if my teen needs more than this container can give?
When it becomes clear a teen needs individual attention, we flag it and refer directly to a Licensed Teencoaching™ Associate for 1:1 coaching — R1,200 per session, typically once a month, with WhatsApp access to their coach in between for check-ins. Full details are shared with you directly at that point, so there's no guessing.
Is one live session a month really enough to create change?
On its own, no — which is why this is a twelve-month container, not a one-month one. Real change in a teenager takes sustained time and investment, not a quick fix. Weekly goal-setting and check-ins carry the work between the live sessions.
What actually happens in a typical monthly session?
A facilitated group coaching conversation, led by Nomveliso — a topic brought to the group, breakout discussions, and a full-group conversation to close. Weekly check-ins continue independently of the monthly session.
Why does the price go up for the next intake?
R980 is a genuine founding-cohort launch rate. As the container grows, so does what it costs to run properly — course production, video content, hosting for everything the community needs saved and accessible. The founding price reflects where we are now, not where the value stays.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Payments are handled through Teachable. If a payment fails, it's automatically retried — you'll get an email to update your card, and your teen keeps their place during that window. If every retry fails, access is automatically removed. Rejoining afterward is treated as a new application, subject to space and current pricing at that time, not automatic reinstatement at the founding rate.
Can I get a refund?
No — there are no refunds. You can cancel at any time, with no further payments due once you do.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
Twelve months is the recommended minimum for real, lasting change to show — but there's no lock-in. You're free to leave at any time.
Will you personally know my child?
At this scale, not individually — and we'd rather be upfront about that than overpromise. What you do get: weekly check-ins that track how your teen is engaging, real progress data behind the incentive awards, and Nomveliso present and leading every monthly session herself.
Are you present every month, or does the assistant run sessions alone?
Nomveliso is present for every monthly coaching session, without exception. The assistant runs the weekly check-ins, goal-setting, and guest coordination in between.
