What makes it different

Part mentorship, part event, all Teencoaching™.

This is a bigger group on purpose. Teens learn from each other, from me, and from people who have walked the road ahead of them. It has the feel of a professional programme, with every part of Teencoaching™ built in.

Mentorship and guest speakers

Guest speakers and panel conversations through the year, so teens hear first-hand from people building the lives they want.

Academic excellence

Academic goals set at the start of the year, progress tracked throughout, and a termly academic review with me.

Teens lead sessions

Teens lead parts of the programme themselves, building leadership and communication skills, and holding each other accountable.

Personal growth

Self-leadership, personal development and goals beyond the classroom, including extramural goals, grounded in the Five Pillars of Teencoaching™.

The year at a glance

A full calendar, from vision to celebration.

  1. Start of the year

    Vision casting and vision boards

Each teen maps out the year they want, then sets academic goals and extramural goals to match.

  2. Term 1

    Back-to-school challenge

A strong start to the school year, with habits and routines that hold.

  3. Every month

    In-person sessions

Self-leadership, leadership development and Teencoaching™ in a group, with workshop materials and lunch, and some sessions led by the teens themselves.

  4. Through the year

    Guest speakers and panels

Event-style sessions with guests from different fields, so teens see what’s possible and ask the questions that matter to them.

  5. Every term

    Academic review with Nomveliso

We look at each report, celebrate progress and set the strategy for the next term. Results are never used to judge, only to plan.

  6. Some weekends

    Fun activities

Because growing together should also be fun.

  7. End of the year

    Closing event

We celebrate every teen’s growth across the year, with families.
