Through Mayine Development Institute's Teencoaching-in-Residence™ programme, aspiring Teencoaches can develop their coaching practice through certification, supervised practical experience and a potential school-based placement.

Your journey to becoming a Teencoach-in-Residence™

1. 01

   Begin your CIAT™ Certification

   Start your journey towards becoming a Certified Identity-Anchored Teencoach™ through our 12-month certification pathway.

2. 02

   Identify a school

   Choose a school in your area, build a relationship with the principal and explore the possibility of undertaking your supervised practical placement there.

3. 03

   Gain practical coaching experience

   Apply your learning through supervised coaching practice with learners, including group coaching and appropriate one-on-one coaching.

4. 04

   Provide ongoing coaching support

   Develop your practice through a school-based residency and explore opportunities to continue working with the school after completing your certification.

Ongoing Teencoaching-in-Residence™ work after certification requires the appropriate associate status, licensing and agreed arrangements with Mayine and the school.
