"Parents said: I don't take a break. This retreat was built for exactly that parent."

Why This Retreat Exists

Because parents
don't rest.

You are managing school emails, behaviour dips, emotional overload, academic pressure, your own stress, and the constant background noise of wondering if you are doing enough. You are always on. You are always available. You are rarely still.

The Indigenous Parenting™ Retreat was built for the parent who has never given themselves permission to step away — because they believed their family could not survive the weekend without them. It can. And you need it.

You cannot pour from an empty vessel. This is not a cliché. It is the operating principle of every parent who comes to this retreat having given everything to their children and nothing to themselves.

Community is the missing ingredient. Parenting was never meant to be done in isolation. Indigenous African wisdom has always known that a child is raised by a village — and so is the parent.

Instinct needs quiet to speak. You already know what your child needs. The noise of daily life drowns it out. This retreat creates the conditions for you to hear yourself again.

Who This Retreat Is For

The parent who is
ready to stop reacting.

This retreat is not for the parent who wants a break from their children. It is for the parent who wants to return to their children as a better, calmer, more grounded version of themselves.

01

The exhausted parentYou have been giving everything to everyone and there is nothing left. You are not looking for more advice — you are looking for space to breathe and think.

02

The disconnected parentSomething has shifted between you and your child and you cannot name it. The relationship is still there but the ease is gone. You want to find your way back.

03

The proactive parentThings are not in crisis — but you want to parent better before they are. You are choosing to invest in your relationship before the difficult seasons arrive.

04

The isolated parentYou have been doing this alone — no village, no community, no one who truly understands your specific experience of parenting your specific child.

05

The parent in transitionYour child is moving from one stage to the next and the rules have changed. You need to change with them.

06

The parent after a workshopYou attended an Indigenously Parenting Teens™ workshop and you are ready to go deeper. The retreat is the natural next step.

In Their Own Words

Parents who have
done the work.

These are real parents. Different cities, different circumstances, different children. The same shift.

"

This was a very emotional and useful session. I have learnt a lot about life itself. I have learnt that I must listen, observe and take my kids' behaviour into consideration. I am also excited to learn about other parents' challenges and get a relief that I am not alone.

"

My best part — nine other parents in the room meant I read nine encyclopedias of parenting. Shared stories. We are different and yet the same. We are reminded who we are at the workshop. It's in the name. It's in the lineage. Know who you are. Let the teens know who they are. My dear Teencoach Nomveliso — we thank the gods for your work.

"I benefitted from this programme and it changed my whole outlook on parenting. If parents can't afford any of your services, this is a must-have. I'm still relying on it for my overall approach to life."
