Young Adult Reconstruction™ · Ages 18–30 · Identity & Career
You are not behind.
You are between.
Between where you were and where you are going. Between who you were told to be and who you are actually becoming. That space is not a character flaw. It is exactly where this programme begins.
The programme
What Reconstruction
actually means
The word is deliberate. Not reinvention — you are not becoming someone else. Not recovery — you are not broken. Reconstruction: taking what is real about you, understanding it clearly, and building from there with intention.
Layer 1
Identity Reconstruction
Who are you underneath the expectations, the setbacks, the comparisons, and the noise? This layer builds a clear, grounded sense of self — rooted in your actual values, your strengths, your indigenous cultural identity, and your family story — that can hold whatever comes next.
Layer 2
Career Direction & Practical Next Steps
Once there is clarity about who you are, the question of what to do becomes answerable. Career exploration, work readiness, entrepreneurial direction, and practical life structure — all anchored in identity, not in what sounds impressive or what others hoped for.
Who this is for
Does this sound like
where you are?
Young Adult Reconstruction™ is for young adults between 18 and 30. You do not need to have it figured out to begin — you just need to be honest about where you are.
You finished school and the honest answer is you do not know what comes next.
You started or completed a qualification and still find yourself without a clear direction.
You are caught between employment and entrepreneurship and cannot seem to move in either direction.
Something happened — in your family, your relationships, your plans — and it derailed you. You are ready to rebuild, but you are not sure where to start.
You feel like you are living someone else's version of your life and are not sure what your own looks like.
You have never had a clear plan, and the absence of one is beginning to feel like a weight you carry everywhere.
Clarity
Let us be
clear
Not career counselling
Career direction is part of this work — but we start with who you are, not with what you should do.
Not a quick fix
The minimum commitment is 6 months. For those seeking deeper long-term stability, a 12-month engagement is available. Neither is arbitrary — both reflect the honest minimum for the depth of work this programme requires.
Not therapy
If what you are carrying requires therapeutic support, we will say so and help you find the right resource. Coaching works alongside therapy — it does not replace it..
Not something your parent commits to for you
A parent can open the door and support the investment. Only you can decide to walk through it.
Investment
What this
costs
Young Adult Reconstruction™ is a monthly retainer engagement — not a session package. You are retaining access to your coach's thinking, preparation, design work, and ongoing support across the full month. The work does not begin and end in a coaching conversation.
What your monthly retainer includes
Scheduled coaching conversations (60–90 minutes each)
Task design and programme work created specifically for you
Between-session async support and responsiveness
The process
How it
works
The process is designed to be led by you — the young adult. That is not a formality. It is the first indication of readiness.
Progress reviews and reflection documentation
Research and preparation specific to your coaching journey
Parent or caregiver touchpoints where agreed and relevant

If the Founder's investment level is beyond your reach right now, working with a Mayine in-house coach is not a compromise — it is a different access point to the same body of work, delivered under the same methodology and supervised directly by Nomveliso Mbanga.
The enquiry comes from you — not from a parent acting on your behalf. You complete the intake form yourself. The decision to apply must be yours.
We hold a focused conversation with you to understand where you are and what you are hoping the work will produce. Where relevant, we may hold a separate, brief conversation with a parent or caregiver — to provide context and set expectations. This conversation informs the process. It does not determine it.
If we are both ready to begin, you sign the coaching agreement and pay the deposit. The programme is yours from that point. Parental involvement does not extend beyond this moment unless there is a specific, agreed reason to revisit it.
The first session is a structured onboarding — your coach and you establish the working relationship, agree on goals, and set the conditions for your engagement. From here, the retainer is fully active and the work belongs entirely to you.
Confidentiality
Everything discussed in your sessions is confidential. Your coach will not report back to your parents about the content of your sessions. The only exceptions are the standard duty-of-care obligations that apply in any professional coaching relationship — and these will be explained clearly at intake. Your sessions are yours.
A note for parents
In most cases, it is a parent who finds this page and passes it along. That is a legitimate role — you are the bridge. But from the moment your young adult decides to engage, this process belongs to them. The enquiry and the commitment must come from your young adult directly. A parent can open the door. Only they can walk through it.
"You are not behind.
You are between."
